Multi-Factor Authentication

What is MFA and how to enable it

Updated over 2 years ago

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a type of authentication method used by a user to add an extra layer of security on an account. This extra layer of security requires the user to provide one or more verification factors for access. MFA uses verification factors like one time passwords (OTP) for the Lang.ai platform to provide a user access to an account. Lang.ai users can also enable MFA on their account to keep their customer information protected and secure.

How to enable MFA

MFA can be enabled in the Lang.ai platform by clicking on the username in the top-right corner and Profile. Selecting Enable MFA in the Security tab enables the MFA.

The user will then be asked to scan a QR code from their preferred authentication app. This app will then the provide the user with an OTP or one-time code they can use to login.
